Terms of Service

Last updated: June 21, 2026
Please read carefully. By creating an account or using VoicePact, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What VoicePact Is

VoicePact lets two parties record a verbal agreement, have it structured into a written summary (with AI assistance), and obtain a digital confirmation and signature from both parties, producing a timestamped PDF record.

VoicePact is a tool for documenting agreements. It is not a law firm, and it does not provide legal advice. Whether a particular agreement is legally binding or enforceable depends on the laws of your jurisdiction and the nature of the agreement itself. You are responsible for determining whether VoicePact is an appropriate way to document any given agreement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VoicePact to:

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to record any conversation you use VoicePact to document, including compliance with one-party or two-party consent laws applicable to your location.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the audio recordings, transcripts, and agreement content you create. By using VoicePact, you grant us a license to store, process, and transmit that content as necessary to provide the service — including sending it to the other party in the agreement, processing it via our AI provider to extract structured details, and generating the PDF certificate.

6. AI-Generated Content

VoicePact uses a third-party AI service (Google Gemini) to summarize and structure the content of your recorded agreement. AI-generated summaries may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. The full original recording and transcript are preserved alongside the AI summary so the underlying agreement is never solely represented by AI-generated text. You should review the structured summary for accuracy before relying on it.

7. No Legal Guarantee

VoicePact does not guarantee that any agreement recorded through the service will be recognized as legally binding or enforceable in any specific jurisdiction. Whether a recorded verbal agreement constitutes a valid contract depends on applicable law, the nature of the agreement, and other factors outside VoicePact's control. For agreements with significant legal or financial consequences, we recommend consulting a qualified attorney.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep VoicePact available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the service for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from temporary unavailability of the service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the service. You may stop using VoicePact and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Completed agreement records involving another party may be retained as required by the legal nature of the document, even after account closure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoicePact and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to disputes between parties to an agreement, loss of data, or reliance on AI-generated summaries. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of VoicePact after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
